It worked as advertised.
I had a raid-1 drive that mysteriously disappeared after a power failure. The partition table had been corrupted, not of the superblocks of the ext3 partition could be found.
I could see that the data was still on the drive by accessing the raw device, but had no way to access it.
No other recovery program I found was able to "find" the ext3 data structures. The demo of Stellar Phoenix was able to tell me that it could find, and thus restore my missing data.

It worked for recovering my files
I had a problem with an external USB drive, who lost the partition table: Linux was unable to read it when I connected the device. The program was able to get it right, examining the drive, and then it is now helping me recovering the lost files. In the end, I was very happy with the program
